Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Economics (UNAM: Summa Cum Laude). Fulfilled his post-graduate studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London, where he graduated with a Master’s in Science Degree (Economics).
Has taught at the Faculty of Economics and at the Faculty of Administration & Accountancy at the UNAM; both at undergraduate and graduate levels. Is a president life-member of the Association of Graduates from the PADEP/INAP. Is currently part of the Adjunct Professor’s pool at National University, Vincennes University, Southern States University and United States University, where he has taught subjects such as International Economics, Business Management, Finance, Operations Management, Macroeconomics, Economics, Production and Organization Management, Managerial Economics, Managerial Finances, Decision Systems, Ethics, International Relations, Intercultural Communications, Sociology, Teams, Management Decisions, Principles of Economics and Spanish for Business.
He became General Coordinator of the Business Masters program from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), Finance Director of the INBA-Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura, Treasurer of Fidelist, Coordinator of Liconsa/Diconsa, and Economical Analysis Bank Manager at Banobras. Has also been an advisor to the Secretaria de Hacienda (Treasury), and the House of Deputies. Founded member of the Federal Electoral Institute and of EXIM with Mitsui/Maruben/Mitubishi. Has published a variety of articles about economics in newspapers and specialized magazines. Currently is the CEO of New Image Group, a firm dedicated to the production, direction and distribution of classical films and new Latin-American cinema.
His specialization includes USA/Latin America relations and financial programming (CEMLA).
